FABRIC INSERTS
Right tools for the job
Get yourself some soft tools and cleaning materials for your fabric. While the fabrics are built to last, using tools meant for cleaning soft fabrics is key. We suggest grabbing a felt brush or lint roller for keeping minor dirt or debris off the surface and a 100% cotton rag for quickly soaking up any accidental spills.

NEVER Vacuum
You may think the easiest way to get the little dirt and crumbs off of your table is to take a vacuum out, but you may be creating a bigger problem. The suction may loosen the fabric from the table and create little stretches in the fabric over time. Instead, take a little extra time with your table brush and spot-brush your insert.

Spills! on Your Fabric Insert
Spills are never fun, but lucky for you, all of our fabrics are water and stain resistant. Spills will bead up and not soak into the fabric. That doesn't mean you should just leave a spill sitting there until you finish your hand. Clean up any accidents right away!

Don’t drop the Fabric Insert
The insert is happier in the vault. Avoid dropping the fabric insert on its edges. The insert core may dent or break if it lands too hard on an edge. When pulling the insert up, pull slowly to allow air to get under it as you pull it up. Pulling to hard may cause suction and possibly stretch or break a strap.

PLEXIGLASS ACRYLIC
Easy Clean Your Plexiglass Sheet
To get the maximum life out of your plexiglass, never use cleaning solutions that contain ammonia to clean your plastic. Cleaners such as Windex or 409 will do more harm than good. Use only mild dish detergent with a microfiber cloth or products such as Novus #1 that are specially designed to clean plastics and acrylics.

Scratch Removal
Over time the plexi-insert will scratch and leave ghosting from the use of dry-erase markers. But hey! the purpose is to use it, is it not? If it has not been scratched up you’re not gaming hard enough. Fine scratches can be removed with a mild abrasive polish designed for acrylics such as Novus #2, or Novus #3. Heavier scratches that you can feel with your fingernail will require some elbow grease or be buffed with a buffer.

Dry Erase Markers
There are many brands of dry-erase markers on the market. Most work quite well but a few may have a tendency of leaving ghosting more often than others. You might want to test your dry-erase markers in a corner to ensure they are of good quality.

Don’t drop the Plexi-insert
Even though acrylic is strong, dropping it can cause cracking. Both small and small cracks have the potential to render sheet useless, however small cracks can often be stopped from spreading by drilling a small (3/32” diameter) hole at the end of the crack. This will keep your sheet in one piece while you call us for a replacement.
